A History of 2025 S Val Vista Dr. Elaine Lamb, the grand-daughter of Charles Alfred Pine; one of the original homesteaders of Gilbert, Arizona was an avid collector of antiques. She and her husband Garth, spent years going to antique shops and auctions all over the United States collecting everything she fell in love with. As her collection grew larger and larger, Garth realized Elaine did not have a way to showcase all the treasures she had found over the years. Garth wanted to show Elaine his love and build her the home of her dreams to house her collection. Elaine loved the victorian architecture and thought it would be perfect to hold her collection of antiques. She was a visionary and designed each corner of this home to house all of the antiques she spent years collecting. In 1998 construction was complete and they were able to move into their beautiful home. Below is a list of things that will convey with the home that were part of Elaine's collection. 1. The Fretwork in the entry way came from a old hotel in San Francisco 2. The light fixture in breakfast nook came from the same hotel in San Francisco 3. On both sides of the fireplace are 2 pieces of stained glass that came from actor, Cary Grant's home. 4. Garth and Elaine started the Rawhide Livestock Auction in Chandler, the stained glass windows in the breakfast nook came from the restaurant there. 5.
